If you are getting notifications indicating that your ad hosts “distributes malicious software,” DON'T WORRY!
Google’s anti-malware policies require DFP to run regular checks on your networks’ ad creatives to protect publishers and users.
To clear this issue, you must activate the following line items manually:
- In the Delivery tab, check Line items or My line items to locate the unactivated line items you want to activate.
- Enable the checkboxes for each line item, then click Activate.
Alternatively, you can activate a line item from the Settings page.
The activated creatives will now pass the subsequent DFP scan and be marked safe for ad serving.
